The purpose of the plate is to stimulate the bore distortion of a torqued cylinder head during the honing process. This is essential for high performance engine builds.
The plate is 2” thick and is made of 6061-t6 aluminum. Stainless steel spacers are included. These prevent damaging the aluminum plate and have a specific height to allow the use of OEM bolts. The plate has a maximum bore of 93 mm.
This product is made to order and has a 3 day lead time.
