This is an ej253 converted to a closed deck block. The short block has been CNC machined to accept a billet block guard made out of 6061-T6 aluminum, precisely machined for a perfect and even press fit all around. The engine have 0 km since the conversion to a closed deck. The cylinder bore is 99.5 mm. We recommend overbore to 99,75 mm in order to remove any distortion created by the aluminum insert.
